Photos taken from the 10th floor balcony of this particular block of flats in Kowloon are not rare, but you don't usually see the checkerboard. You can see it in this shot because this DC10 was quite a bit lower than it should have been! I only spent a few days taking photos at this location, but every time I saw a Japan Asia 'Ten, it was too low.

British Caledonian tried a few names for its charter operation. Here DC10, carrying BCA Charter titles, lifts off from Glasgow's runway 23 on a stormy Sunday evening.

Icelandair's Boeing 737-400 TF-FID, the only 400 series aircraft painted in their new colours, lands at Glasgow Airport on a cold spring morning.
