About Gerry Reeves

Thank you for taking the time to look at my Web page. My name is Gerry Reeves and I live in El Cajon, Calif. I was born in Kansas City, Mo. My parents had the good sense to move me to Los Angeles when I was six months old. I lived there when it was a great place to live and grow up. Unfortunately, it is not now. I went to Washington High School, USC and Boston U. I am a former Air Force officer, newspaperman and public relations executive.           What I Do for Fun I am a serious photo hobbyst and I love to go places where there are decent photo possibilities. This can include the Arizona-Sonora Desert, Baja, or simply the harbor and San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. Theater is one of my great loves, as is music. I collect Broadway musicals, both on record and CD. I work out as often as I can and enjoy physical activity. Generally, a very relaxed, laid-back kinda guy.     Varied Likes and Interests My favorite movies are weird: "The Loved One," "Dr. Strangelove," "Titanic," "Wizard of Oz," "S.O.B," and anything with Julie Andrews. My Favorite Sports/Teams: San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Cleveland Browns My Favorite Music/Bands: Broadway, easy listening, disco, country-western.      Professional Basically, I'm a writer. I have been a newspaper guy, an ad copy writer, public relations writer and vice president of a large public relations agency in Los Angeles. In San Diego, I was public relations manager at Cubic Corporation for 10 years.
