Leave for Egypt... My mommy picks me up at my apartment, and takes me to the airport. I decide to go to the Swiss Chalet, and order a quarter chicken dinner. I figure this wil be my last normal meal before I venture into the unknown gastronomical delights which await me in Egypt. I wait around for awhile, then I check in to get my ticket. At this point I realize, that for the second leg of my journey, I have been given a business class ticket (from Amsterdam to Cairo), as they have also given me an invite to the KLM business lounge (free drinks!!!) I couldn't find the place, and didn't realize about the free drinks until they began boarding and I had passed the duty free checkpoint, so there was no backtracking to the lounge for a few free ones. I pay my bar tab and wait to board the plane. The plane ride is normal and I am tired, but cannot get to sleep. Guy behind me keeps pulling on my headrest every time he gets up to go to the washroom. I think he has a problem. I'm bored, so I buy a G-SHOCK. I needed a watch anyways for the trip, so I decided on this one. It's pretty cool. I haven't worn a watch since around 1993, so it feels kind of weird on my wrist. I like it! I think I'll be a watch guy from now on...they're actually pretty useful...if you need to know what time it is. |
