Okay, it's Tuesday evening and I'm going to the half price cinema. No, not! According to my calculations it should be about 1pm over there in Toronto and you all should be back from lunch, except for the sales guys, who should probably be back at lunch by the time I'm going to bed (it's 8pm here now! 1pm there?) |

So far I've checked out some temples, saw some tombs, saw some mummies, and took a few boats on the Nile. |

Going to chill out tonight cuz I'm tired. I have squeezed a lot in, and still have one more day here in Luxor before I fly to the resort town of Dahab and then this vacation turns into a sun/sand vacation for a weekend, before I go back to Cairo and this turns into the historical pilgrimage it was intended to be. |

So far, have not run into any Canadians. Lots of British people, Australians, New Zealanders, and even a few of those Americans. (Sorry, New Yorkers on this list!!!) At last count, there are about 90 of you receiving these updates, so count yourself lucky that I'm so selective on who I'm sharing all this info with. |

A couple of Egyptologists I ran into yesterday, were cool. I ran into one at a temple site, and he could actually read all the heiroglyphics and stuff...so I am now an expert...not!!! |

Anyways, I'm off to find some dinner (yes, always looking for the food), probably have some pigeon with rice tonight. "No, I don't want no pigeon, no, I don't want no rice." Ha, some of you may get that, the rest of you won't know what I'm talking about. Ummm, yeah, they really do eat pigeon here, but I haven't been brave enough to try it. Perhaps, after a few beers... |

Has the snow cleared yet? And has Mel called in the national guard yet? (reference for Toronto only) |

Okay, whatever, I'm going now. Talk to you next from the sunny surf of the Red Sea. |

Also to answer some questions, I do not have a lap top with me, and there's internet cafe's on every street. This place is hooked up!!! |
