Konterman Deal is agreed - 29/5/00

Rangers Dutch Targer Bert Konterman.

It emerged from Holland last night that the £4M-deal to bring Feyenoord's Dutch international centre half, Bert Konterman, to Ibrox has now been agreed. It is understood that Konterman will complete the signing formalities early this week and leave the hunt for a new striker as the one remaining piece of the jigsaw that Advocaat has still to finalise.
