More About This Site

I created this site when I was 14 years old. I had been interested in Gettysburg since I first visited there when I was nine. Since then I have been there four times, though unfortunately not recently. I did a lot of reading about the Civil War and loved to talk about it, but unfortunately none of my friends held quite the same "obsession" as me. When I took a web designing class, I thought this would be a great way to share what I had learned. I know that some kids really like history while others find it boring, so I hoped to make this site appealing to all sides of the spectrum and provide a basic description of the battle in clear language. Though I'm several years older now, I enjoy maintaining this site. As a busy student, I don't always have a lot of time to add more pages to the site, however, I have had plans for a while now to try to add some more details and some of my own photos. While I plan on keeping to the spirit of a site for kids, since I welcome readers of all ages, I've been debating on whether or not to add more in depth descriptions of the battles. Let me know if you have any feedback on the site and its future. Thanks so much for visiting!
