S.A.B.D.A CODE OF PRACTICE FOR OUR MEMBERS

 
Be courteous at all times no matter how bad the abuse or how great the threat. Do not park your cars on other peoples property.
Do not over dig any of the ground that you are digging. Please stick to paths and roads or foreshores for access to the shoreline.
Vary where you dig to allow the mud to settle. Avoid any areas where birds are roosting or nesting.
Do not remove any breeding (green) worms. Replace any overturned stones or other debris do not dig them in and backfill as you go.
Do not dig near slipways, moorings or markers. Report any signs of pollution to the relevant harbour master immediately.
Do not make excessive noise especially at night. For safety:- try to dig in pairs, always let some-one know where you're going.
