Falleen

The Falleen are humanoid in stature. Their ancestors lived in the water, and most Falleen litters are birthed in the water. As a people, the Falleen exist in a feudal society, with noble houses ruling over lower classes of artisans, workers, and slaves. Rather than become wrapped up in learning about the galaxy at large, the Falleen chose to remain introverted and refine their already "superior" culture. Then, about ten years before the Battle of Hoth, Darth Vader eliminated a great portion of the Falleen population in order to stop the spread of a bioweapon which had been tested on the planet and had been set free. In reaction to these murders, the Falleen withdrew even further from the galactic community.

There are, in reality, five subspecies of Falleen:
The Faleen Prime who make up the ruling houses.
The Falleen Koda who make up the leadership of the military and the primary aides to the Prime.
The Falleen Ving who make up the majority of the military.
The Falleen Dwak who make up most of the class of artisans and about half the workers.
The Falleen Zor who are the lowest class and who make up about half the workers and the slave class.
