Think Laterally!

Here are some of the lateral-thinking puzzles that I've come across over the years. A warning, though: a lot of lateral-thinking puzzles are typically "how did they die?" types of questions. I've tried to include a number of non-death-related questions as well. And I've tried to sort them roughly by difficulty.

Enjoy!

Group 2

The Island
A man is alone on an island with no food and no water, yet he does not fear for his life.

The Blind Beggar
A blind beggar had a brother who died. What relation was the blind beggar to the brother who died?

The Twins
One day Kerry celebrated her birthday. Two days later her older twin brother, Terry, celebrated his birthday.

The Hunter's Mistake
A hunter aimed his gun carefully and fired. Seconds later, he realized his mistake. Minutes later, he was dead.

The Piece of Paper
A man is running along a corridor with a piece of paper in his hand. The lights flicker, and the man drops to his knees and cries out, "Oh no!"

The Yacht
In the middle of the ocean is a yacht. Several corpses are floating in the water nearby.

The Snorkeler in the Forest
Deep in the forest was found the body of a man who was wearing only swimming trunks, snorkel and facemask. The nearest lake was 8 miles away and the sea was 100 miles away.

Bound to a Chair
One of Johnny's dearest loved ones binds him to a chair, but Johnny doesn't mind.

The Locked Room
A man is dead in a puddle of blood and water on the floor of an otherwise empty locked room.
