Overview:

Leutnant Kiel Brackmann was assigned to the 14th Donegal Guards months after the Jade Falcon Incursion and drew an ASN-30 Assassin as his assigned Battlemech. He had watched the battleroms and he knew that the LB 5-X Autocannon would not be an efficient weapon against the continuing   threat of the Jade Falcons.
The young Leutnant spent many hours consulting with the 14th’s engineers and pl;eading with his superiors. Eventually he was able to convince them of the need to improve the weaponry on his Assassin.

The major change on the Assassin was the replacement of the LB 5-X Autocannon with a Defiance-built ER PPC and moving it into the right arm. The ER medium laser in the right arm was moved to the right torso to fill the space once occupied by the Autocannon. As the removal of the Autocannon left a large space in the right torso and some free weight, Leutnant Brackmann decided to add a Norse Technologies Guardian ECM in lieu of what he really wanted, one of the new Fedrat target computers that had made its way through the rumor mill. He still had some weight left over and
