Overview:

When the Thermo Police hired on with the Outworlds Alliance in early 3057,   thirteen year old Patricia ‘Trixie’ Gogolak came with them. Her mother commanded the Recon Lance, while her father was part of their small but efficient technical crew. Assigned to the world of Tellman IV on the Federated Suns border, the Thermo Police was charged with protecting the world and it’s crucial agricultural facilities.

When she was fourteen, Trixie would kill her first pirate in defense of the Thermo Police’s base on Tellman IV. When one of the technicians went down to pirate rifle fire, she grabbed the fallen man’s weapon and joined several other Thermo Police technicians in defending their supply cache. The pirates retreated when the bulk of the Thermo Police returned from a diversionary strike by the pirate’s main force. Two years later, Trixie later joined the Alliance military and received Mechwarrior training per the contract with the Alliance. In 3061, she was allowed to attend a professional development course given at the Columbia Academy. This AGDA approved course was designed to instruct prospective officers in the key elements of command and ground based warfare. Out of a class of eighteen individuals, Trixie graduated second and was given her choice of assignment.

Just prior to the completion of the course, two things happened that would have a direct effect on her life. The first was the announcement by President Mitchell Avellar of the formation of the 1st and 2nd Long Road Legions, of which the Thermo Police would form the basis of the 1st Legion. The second, was the retirement of her mother from active service. These two occurrences made Trixie’s decision easy and she joined the 1st Legion’s Third Company. Trixie was promoted to Supervisor and given command of the Third Company’s   new Strike Lance, later known as Trixie’s Pixies.

In 3066, an unknown pirate force struck the world of Risin and wreaked havoc on the 1st Legion’s Second Battalion. The tankers were inexperienced and suffered mightily at the hands of the pirates, who were equipped with a significant number of advanced ‘Mechs. The Third Company arrived just as the pirates were retreating to their DropShips. The Pixies attacked pirates flank but met up with a Grand Dragon and a Commando. The Pixies would mange to take both ’Mech but lose Trixie’s Phoenix Hawk and a Assassin in the bargain.

For her spirited assault was given the salvaged Grand Dragon as her new ride. With the ER PPC destroyed, the Legion’s techs mounted a new ER Large Laser used in the building of the Alliance produced Night Hawk in it’s place. The two rear firing   lasers were replaced with and SRM-6 launcher and a flamer for anti-infantry work. With the removal of a double heat sink, the techs were able to hang another ton’s worth of armor on the Grand Dragon’s chassis. Trixie is anxious to try it combat, especially with rumors of a new Clan operating near the Alliance.
