| A HERO IS A hero is thought out to be a person who saves someone who is in danger by showing signs of bravery, courage, and strength during times when help is needed. However in my opinion a hero is a person who will help is needs comfort no matter what the circumstances. If there’s a problem they’ll try their best to either fix it or help out. A hero must have a great heart and will power. Marcus Camby is hero because he has a great heart. His leadership and dedication towards kids was demonstrated when he created the charity, Camby’s Kids. The 33 year old visits the charity at least twice a month to help support the workers and talk to the kids. He treats them as if they were his own family. A worker states, ”This is probably the most thoughtful person and shows it with his dedication towards all the kids.” Not only does Marcus have a great heart he also has will power. His determination is shown in his efforts to make every one of the kids happy by spending time with them and making it seem like they are special no matter what anyone says about them. When a boy was choking on some food, while Marcus was on a visit to the charity, he didn’t stop trying to help him until eventually workers had to pry him off telling him that it was too late and he couldn’t help him anymore. Marcus Camby is definitely a hero because he shows determination and persistence to do whatever he does. He showed that a hero doesn’t have to save lives but he showed that he cares. His will power helps him in times when it’s needed and showed that a heart like his is truly great. |
