Kengo: Master of Bushido |
REVIEW |
Graphics:(6.5) The backround is great, i can't find any errors there. Now for the biggest flaw in the game, the models are great in the texture level, but the pants look blocky and there are many model errors (ex: when a model thrusts another model somtimes the whole hand and blade would go through the model). The cloth right beneath the arm sometimes disappears if u look at it on an angle. The camera views are a problem too, sometimes it confuses you where your attacking and that can get really anonying sometimes. Gameplay:(6) Not very good control wise, considering no analog control. It'll take you 30 mins to get used to the controls and basically the best strategy(due to lacking in control play) is just circling around your opponent and attacking. Presentation: (9.5) A wicked ass intro movie with great fighting scenes, a cool menu and very short loading time (about 4 to 3 seconds) Sound: (9.7) Without the sound this game would be nothing, the sound is wicked and one of the best i've heard in a game yet, the only thing thats stopping me from giving a 10 is that when the unlockable charater who uses the oar makes a blade sound at the beginning of the round when he pulls out his oar from his belt. Lasting appeal: (7) A massive single player mode where you create your own charater and train in a dojo of your choice. Your objective is basically train and defeat other dojos for there swords and speacial moves. Plus there is survival mode and vs mode. But the graphics and gameplay really hurts the lasting appeal. Overall(not an average):(7) O.K game except for the graphics and gameplay. COMMENTS: I own it and its pretty good with an arcade stick |
