| GRAPHICS:(9.5) The tecture level and detail is just stunning. 60 fps (frames per second) makes the game smooth. You won't find any signs of flickering. You can even custimize yor logo for yor mech. Presentation: (10) An incredible movie intro and an amazing menu screen. Sound:(7) Pretty good sound overall, but i just dont like the weapon sounds which could be goofy at some times Gameplay:(6) Armored core's biggest weakness. The controls are hard to get used to(no analog control), but after a while its easy, but the thing that really hurts the score is the nasty slowdowns when playing split screen mulitplayer. Lasting appeal:(8) You can beat all the missions in one long day(i beat it in three) but once u have completed yor last missions, all the missions you haven't beaten will be playable. The hidden AC parts will take you a while to find and the most custimizable garage is the funnest to use and cumtimize yor mech. Plus it has internet multiplayer, that will last you awhile(but the modem still hasnt come out for the ps2). Overall(not and average:(8.7) This would have been a perfect game if the goofy sounds for some weapons were fixed and if it had analog control. But most of all if they fixed the slow downs in split screen vs mode. |
