Micheal sat the the docks looking for something in the river's water. His eighteen birthday was tommorow and he felt like he was missing something in his life. He loved his family more and anything and do almost anything for them. Micheal was a overprotected big brother of his little sister, Morgan. Looking out into the river, he heared footsteps behind him. He jumped slowly to get away but as she looked back it was only a beauitful teenage girl.
He couldn't move, staring at her amazing brown eyes. " I'm sorry if I bothered you. " she said.
" No not all at." he said nervously.
" Do you mind if I sit down next to you?" she asked as she started to feel an attraction from him.
" Sure." he said joyfully.
She walked peacefully over towards him as they both sat down together at the same time. Looking at him she introduce herself, " Hi, I'm Brooklyn. " " I'm Micheal." he said with a smile on his face.
" So what are you doing out here so late at night?" she asked.
" Just thinking, my birthday is tommorow and I turn eighteen. " he said unhappy.
" You said that like it's a bad thing."
" It's just, I feel like I'm missing something. I feel like there is just something out there waiting for me. " he said feeling completely comfortable with her.
" I know what you mean." she said shocking Micheal. " I'm looking for that something too."
They both stared at each other for a couple of seconds when they both felt like kissing each other. They moved closer when all of a sudden Ned appears and yells, " What do you think you're doing?"
Brooklyn jumps up and stands right next to Micheal. " What is your problem?" she yelled at him.
" Don't you use that tone of voice at me." Ned screamed, " I don't want to you hang out with him."
" What?" she screamed. " You can't tell me who I can and can't talk too." To make matters even worse, Sonny overheard the yelling and appeared from the other side of the docks.
" What's going on, Micheal?" Sonny asked.
" Nothing." Micheal answered.
" Nothing, you think nothing. You're son was all over my daughter and was going to take matters into his own hands." Ned yelled with angry.
" What?" she yelled.
" Michael lets go!" Sonny said.
" I can't believe you're doing this to me. Nothing happen and nothing was going to happen." Brooklyn yelled at her father.
" You're coming with me. " Ned said taking her arm and dragging her off towards Kelly's. Brooklyn and Ned both drift away as Michael looked embarssed at Sonny.
" I wasn't going to hurt her at all." he said.
" I believe you, Micheal. It's just Ned and I don't get along. I'm not saying you can't see her but I'm saying probably won't even allow you to come close near her." Sonny said trying to explain why he couldn't see her.
" I hate it when people tell me I can't see certain people. It's just not fair." Micheal said in angry.
" I'm sorry. I have to head home. Your mother is suprising you tommorow for your birthday and I knew to help her with something." Sonny said smiling.
" What is she doing this year?" he asked.
" Sorry can't tell you. It's a suprise." He said walking away, " I see you back home tonight before midnight?"
" Yes. I'll be there." Micheal said as he started to drift back to the river's water. Suddenly looking at the ripples of the blue water he raced towards Kelly's.
Outside Kelly's, Ned and Brooklyn stood both full of angry.
" You can't tell me who I can and can not be friends with." she screamed.
" Don't use that kind of tone with me." Ned yelled.
" You can't watch over me 24/7. I can talk to whom ever I want."
" You can talk to whom ever you want expect for Micheal Corinthos".
" Why?"
" His family is dangerous and bad things happen to good people when they are around them."
" I'm not stupid Dad. You can trust me. Can you?"
" I do trust you."
" Good."
" Ready to go home?"
" I think I just going to go into Kelly's and get something to eat."
" I'll join you."
" No, Dad. Please. Everything will be fine. I'll be home before one. "
" Be home no later than midnight."
" Fine." she whispers as Ned walks away. Michael appears out the green bushes and appoarchs her.
" Hey!" he said.
" It's you again. Are you following me?" she asked. " No. It's just that I couldn't stop thinking about you." " Really? Because I couldn't stop thinking about you too. " she smiled at him. Her eyes lit up like the stars in the sky and all Micheal wanted to do was kiss her soft cherry lips.
" I just feel like..." he paused.
" Like what?" she questioned him.
He stood there thinking and finally looked at her and said, " Will you come to my b-day party tommorow? My mom is going to surprise me. Show up around seven and later I can take you out."
" Out, like on a date?" she asked hoping he would say yes.
" Yeah." nervously he said.
" I'll be there. " she said.
Micheal and Brooklyn looked at each other as they didn't say goodbye but just walked back home, both excited about tommorow night.
