Emma woke up in the hositpal bed as she looked over at her parents sitting next to her. Emma was so tired but she opened her eyes slowly to see her mom and dad. " Mom." she spoke softly, " What happen?" Emily took her hand and combed her beauitful blonde hair. " You don't remember what happen?" Nikolas asked. " No." Emma cried.

Her parents were silent as she thought, " Is Shawn okay? What happen?" she started to cry. " Shawn is fine. He's outside waiting to see you." Emily said trying to calm her down. " I'll go and get him." Nikolas said as he left the room. " Mom, what happen?" she asked. Emily looked at her knowing she lost her baby, but just didn't have the heart to tell her. " You were at the top of the stairs when we were all down stairs waiting for you. Then you tripped on your dress shoes and fell down. "

" My baby?" she cried. " Is my baby okay?"

Emily didn't know what to say, and she didn't have to say anything at all. Emma knew that she lost the baby just by the look in Emily's eyes. " No." she cried. " Please, tell me it's not true." Emily hugged her as Shawn walked in with tears in his eyes.

" Shawn." Emma cried.

" I'll let you two, be alone." Emily said as she walked outside to talk to Nikolas.

" Emma, I'm so sorry. I should of been with you every step down those stairs. I should of been there with you. " he said with tears in his eyes.

" It's not your fault. It's mine. Those stupid shoes. I killed my baby." she cried.

" No, you didn't it was an accident." he said.

" I'm sorry." she cried.

Shawn kissed her on the cheek and brushes her hair.

" Why don't you close your eyes, and get some sleep and I'll stay right here and watch you." he said smiling at her.

" I'll dream of you and our baby." she said.

She closed her eyes as he kissed her forehead. Her eyes drifted into a daydream as she dreamed of Shawn, her, and their son. Music played in the backround.
