Georgie and Maxie were both in the changing room of the hospital as they were changing their clothes to volunteer. They were both talking about Georgie and Dillon as they started to laugh.
“ Maxie. I know Dillon is the only guy for me. I’ll always love him no matter what.” Georgie smiled.
“ That’s wonderful Georgie. I’m so happy for you, really.” Maxie said as she started to get dizzy. She touched her face as she felt her skin get cold.
“Are you okay?” Georgie asked as she finished changing her clothes.
“Yeah, it just got a little hot in here for me.” Maxie said but now feeling even worst then before. “Just go, we’re already late; I don’t want to make you even later.”
“Are you sure?” Georgie asked.
“Yes. Please go, I am fine.”
Right as Georgie left the Maxie’s eyes turned into pain. Her skin was turning white and she was getting hot flashes. She couldn’t keep her balance as she tried to carefully sit down and make herself feel better. Sitting down on the bench she took a deep breathe.
“What’s wrong with me?” she asked as her eyes began to drift away. Her breathing kept on getting louder and louder as it was rapidly increasing. Quickly, she grabbed her chest as she felt her heart racing. She was so scared and had no clue what was going on. Closing her eyes she was praying to God for help and as she slowing lifted her head she say an image.
It was a beautiful teenage girl just her age, with long curly brown hair dressed in a silver pink flower dress. Maxie was in shock as she whispered, “B.J”. After speaking those words, she collapsed onto the floor.
Meanwhile, Georgie was helping out on the computer when Dillon walked in carrying a rose in his hand. She looked up as she saw him and smiled with delight.
“Well isn’t it a nice to surprise to find you here.” She said.
“I was just in my neighborhood and of course I couldn’t stop thinking about you.” he said as he handed her the rose and kissed her on the lips.
Every time he kissed her it was new, exciting, and she loved every second of it. Just the feeling of his lips against her lips gave her a sense of protection. She smiled at him as they stopped kissing and said, “You’re too good to be true.” She paused for a second realizing the time and noticed that it had been fifteen minutes since she seen Maxie. “Where’s Maxie, what’s talking her so long.”
Dillon asked, “Where did she go?”
“She was changing into her volunteer clothes; it shouldn’t take her that long.”
“How about I go and tell her to hurry it up and you just get back to your hard work so later we can get out of her and go someplace special.”
“That sounds perfect.” She said smiling as he walked away and she got back to work quickly.
Dillon walked down the hall and found the changing room. He knocked a couple of times and then yelled, “Maxie! Maxie! It’s Dillon; Georgie is just waiting for you.” He paused and heard no respond. For a second he thought she was in trouble go he opened the door and saw her lying on the ground. “Oh my God!” he said as he ran over to Maxie’s side.
He checked her pulse and checked if she was breathing and realized she had neither. Screaming on the top of his lungs he shouted, “Someone! Help in here! We need a doctor! Hurry!” Dillon started to give Maxie mouth to mouth. His lips gave her air as he watched her chest rise.
