1991 Happenings

Alan and Monica

Scott informed Alan that the father of the baby that Lucy was carrying wasn't him, but it was in fact himself. Alan was furious and went to throw his wife out of the Quartermaine mansion, but things didn't go as planned as Lucy went into premature labor. The baby died and Lucy didn't have anybody or anything. Scotty and Lucy planned to sue Alan for assaulting Lucy but Lila took things into her own hands and sent Lucy on a several week cruise. Monica was thrilled that Alan had come to his senses and dumped his manipulating wife. Lucy returned from her cruise and locked herself in Monica's mansion until their divorce proceedings were fixed. Lucy ended up getting some of Alan's ELQ stock. Their son Alan Jr or AJ was doing poorly in school and he was an alcoholic and him and Alan would quarrel all of the time. Alan and Monica decided to remarry  due to the fact that they still loved each other and they thought it would be good for AJ. They remarried in a ceremony at City Hall.

Anna and Robert

Robert and Anna were growing closer than ever. One day they got into a fight and Robert told her she was a prune faced nag and that it wasn't attractive. Anna was furious at him and was determined to make him see her differently and to just prove him wrong. Valentines Day proved to be the beginning of something special for them, young Robin set them up by sending Valentines Day Cards signed with each others names. Robin's dance recital was happening that evening and they attended it together. Sexual tension was thick as they sat in the chair at the recital. Anna seductively ran her feet up and down Robert's legs. You could see he was turned on. They went back to Robert's place and Anna seduced him by sensually removing her stockings. She tied him to the post with the stockings and left him there. Frisco found him the next day and Robert was humiliated. Robert's brother Mac, arrived on the scene, arriving on the ship the SS Tracy with unsafe chemicals. The ship exploded and Mac swam to safety. Robert pulled him out of the water and exlaimed "You!" He then pushed him back into the water. When Mac was able to get out of the Port Charles Harbor, him and Robert got into a fight. A hockey puck was thrown into Robert's office at the PCPD as it exploded. It wounded Robert very badly. He was in the hospital for a while and Anna was a constant visitor, and Mac visited his brother too, without Anna's consent, she was mad when she found out. When he was finally released from the hospital, him and Anna grew even closer, finally making love, which happened during an earthquake in Port Charles.
