3 a.m.

She lay there on her bed thinking about him. It seemed that was all she ever did was think about him. She couldn't get him out of her mind.

She would be working on campaigns for AJ and she would daze out. Just sitting there thinking of how he looked in the morning, or how he would get those cute lines on his forehead when he was concentrating really hard. Then someone or something would make a noise and she would come back to reality. She had been going on like this since they kissed. Yah they had both agreed it meant nothing but in her mind it have meant a great deal. The way he hand had glided on her check or how his lips felt so tender on hers. Then she would think about how she fit so perfectly into his arms. They looped around her as if God had made those arms just for her.

She turned over and looked at her Ikea clock. It was 3:00 a.m. in the morning. She let out a small sigh. She had been staying up late like this too often. This was at least the fifth time she stayed up till 3 thinking about the prince that lived across the hall.

She slowly got out of bed and started to cross her room. She looked around. She couldn't imagine herself anywhere else. She opened the door. She saw his room door open. She looked inside. He had his table lamp on. He was still wearing his cloths. She walked in and turned off the lamp. She saw all his papers lying on the floor and bed. She chuckled, always working. He seemed to be working a lot lately. She turned her attention back to him. He looked peaceful. She slowly walked back out and closed the door.
She walked down the stairs and into the kitchen trying to be quiet just in case the creeks woke him up.

She peered into the fridge...there wasn't much there. She spotted the cider. She poured some into a cup and popped it into the microwave.

As she sat there drinking her hot cider. He began to invade her thoughts again. There was a creak in the background. She quickly turned her head and there he was standing on the stairs looking at her.

"Oh...I am sorry. I didn't mean to wake you..." He looked so tired. But then...he looked happy she was down there too.

"No, you didn't wake me up...I couldn't get to sleep."

"Yah...I know how you feel. Do you want some hot cider?" She held out her hands

"Ummm...no. I fell asleep for about 20 minutes. But I woke up...did you come into my room?"

“Ah...yah...I saw the light on and went to turn it off. I was actually pretty jealous. You were sleeping and I...well...I couldn't. So I came down here."

"So what was your reason that you couldn't get some sleep?"

She looked into his eyes. "I was...thinking...about us..."

"Oh really? And.....?"

"I was thinking about when we kissed....I should get back to bed." she started to move and he gently put his hand on her leg.

"Don't leave. To be honest I couldn't get to sleep for the same reason."
"You see I wanna be with you but....I don't know how deep my feelings go..."

"I know exactly how you feel. It is kinda funny."

"What?"

"That it took us all this time to tell each other! And that we had to get a
lack of sleep before we finally told each other."

"Yah...and at 3 am..."

She moved over closer to him. He wrapped his big arms around her.
