Forever Valentine’s

Forever Valentine’s

Nikolas sat on the couch waiting for Gia to come out of the bathroom. He had the whole evening planned. He had told Gia that they were going out for dinner, she was going to be so surprised when she found out what was really going on. “Gia, baby are you almost ready!?”

“You should know by now that I am never on time. So just sit there and be quiet!” Gia laughed as she heard Nikolas let out a ‘huff’ “I heard that Prince!” She looked back at the mirror and strategically placed the last pin in her hair. Tonight was going to be perfect. Nikolas was taking her to dinner and she would get to spend the whole evening uninterrupted. She had heard Nikolas talking to Ms. Lansbury about not being disturbed no matter what. She smiled as she looked at the mirror for one last check. She opened the door and leaned up against the frame with one foot a little ahead showing the daringly high slit.

Nikolas heard her coming and felt his mouth get dry. “You look stunning.” He soaked her in some more and started at her feet. She was wearing a pair of silk strap high heels. Her dress was another thing, it was a midnight blue and the material looked as though it was made from some sort of parachute material. It was long and flowed along her body as if someone had painted it on her. Her hair was in a high bum and had the ends of her hair sticking out everywhere. Her eyes were smoky and she looked like a candy. “Baby...maybe we should just stay here.” He walked up to her and started kissing her neck and her shoulder.

“Hmm...as tempting as that is, you have made reservations. Now come on, you were begging me about being late and...oh...” She arched her back like a cat as he got her sweet spot. “And if we don’t stop in three seconds I am going to take you right here and now and you’ll have to wait for another hour before you eat.”

“It’s desert that I want now.” He winked at her and gently placed her hand on his arm. “Oh...I forgot...you need to put this on.” He took out the blind fold and wrapped it around her eyes.

“We aren’t going out for dinner are we?”

“Just a different place then where you thought.” Nikolas gently and safely led her towards the launch where the limo was waiting for them.

He helped her out of the car and helped her up the steps.

“Nikolas its cold out here.” Gia let out a shiver and looked in the direction that she thought Nikolas was.

“Almost there Princess Sparky.” He opened the door and smiled, it was perfect. “OK I am going to take the blindfold off but you need to keep your eyes closed until I say so.”

“OK...just get this thing off of me!” She smiled and felt his hands slowly caress the small of her back. She was glad that she went with this dress, it had a nice low back and his warm hands felt glorious on her cool back.

Nikolas slowly undid the blind fold. “OK open your eyes.”

Gia slowly opened her eyes and felt her breath slow down and her heart beating faster. She looked around the cottage and felt a tear roll down her cheek. It was all dark except for the hundreds of candles that were placed around the room. It smelt like Vanilla and she walked in further. The floor was adorn with red, white, and pink rose petals. The fire was roaring and the table had Champaign with two flutes and food on it. She then looked near the couch and saw the two big throw pillows on the floor with a blanket. She looked at Nikolas. “You remembered.”

Nikolas smiled and was happy that he had put all the effort into making it such a perfect evening. “I remember every detail that we have together. This was the first time we made love. I love you Princess Sparky.” He bent down and captured her lips with his.

“I love you too Prince Nikolas.”

Gia rested her head on Nikolas bare chest and looked at the fire. It was just like last year. “I think we need to make this a tradition.”

Nikolas chuckled. “Yeah...yeah we do.” He kissed her forehead. “I remember when you said that we the Floor People, you were so incredible.”

“Were?” She raised an eyebrow in his direction and watched as he laughed.

“You ARE such an incredible women, I am so lucky to have you. I know that I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time with you, but I love you so much and I am the luckiest guy to have you standing by me.” Nikolas raised her left hand and kissed her engagement ring. “Forever Gia...forever.”

“Forever.” She leaned up and started to kiss him again.
