The next morning Brenda wakes up and feels Sonny’s arms wrapped around her. She looks over and Lois’s is still sleeping. She turns back and kisses Sonny’s cheek then runs her fingers in his hair, a smile instantly appearing on his face.

“Good morning handsome, you sleep okay?” Brenda snuggles against him resting her head on his chest. “The best sleep I’ve ever had. Mornin’ sweetheart.”

“Good, you better say that.” Sonny’s eyebrows raise. “Better? Better baby.” He begins to run his fingers down her sides before tickling her. Brenda tries to stop him but he climbs on top of her. “Sonny, Sonny stop.” “You brought this on yourself sweetheart.” He continued to tickle her as she continued to laugh loudly.

Lois rolls over and looks at Sonny as he tickles Brenda. “Corinthos, Bren, could you too keep it down. Some of us are trying to sleep.” Brenda yells out as Sonny tickles her on last time. Lois rolls back over on her stomach putting her pillow over her head.

Brenda pushes Sonny off her and gets up to sit on Lo’s bed. “Sorry girl. Sonny’ll make it up you by makin’ breakfast. What do you want?” Sonny quickly stands up. “What? I ain’t making breakfast, she can make her own.” Brenda glares over at him. “She did allow you to sleep in this room last night now you tickle me causing her to wake up. So you owe her.”

Lois quickly sits up loving how Brenda is pulling one over on Sonny. “You’re right Bren. Sonny can you make those Spanish Omelets that I love so much?” Sonny throws his hands up in defeat. “Yeah, yeah, yeah.” He reaches his hand out to Brenda. “C’mon baby.”

Sonny and Brenda are in the kitchen, Sonny making omelets and Brenda sitting on the counter watching him when Katie walks in. She walks up and stands right behind Sonny and looks over his shoulder to see what he’s making. “So whatcha doing Sonny.”

Sonny does turn around but instead looks up to Brenda. “I’m making my girl breakfast, do you mind Katie?” “Oh no I’d love some breakfast Sonny. Thanks.” Katie walks away into the kitchen. Brenda rolls her eyes making fun of Katie, ‘Oh no I’d love some breakfast Sonnnnny.’ “She never quits.”

Confessional -

Katie: “I have no clue what Sonny seems to see in Brenda but I’m definitely going to change his mind and make him notice me. It’s taking a little longer than I thought but I never give up. Soon he’ll give in.”

Sonny turns off the frying pan and wraps his arms around Brenda. “Hey baby. Don’t let her upset you.” He runs his hand down her cheek. “She’s just a girl that lives in this house. She has nothing on you. You...you are the girl that has captured my heart.”

Brenda smiles and puts her hands around his neck pulling him closer to her as the kiss. His hands move up the sides of her shirt rubbing circles on her stomach. Her fingers find his hair, as their kissing becomes more intense.

Lois shuffles into the kitchen wiping the sleep from her eyes. She catches sight of Sonny and Brenda and shakes her head. “Look at the cute couple. Now why can I find someone to be cute with?”

Brenda pulls back from Sonny. She takes her thumb and runs it over his mouth. She hops off the counter and sits down across from Lois. “Hey, I know someone who wouldn’t mind being all cute with you.” Lois looks at her skeptically. “Oh yeah? Who?”

Sonny looks back at them from his cooking. “She’s talking about Ned, Lo.”

“Ned, the singer? I really don’t think he’s into me.” Brenda laughed. “Lo, are you crazy? He’s totally into you. I could tell just by the way he was looking at you. Look just let me call him and you can talk to him.” “Bren, I don’t think so.”

Brenda runs up the stair and grabs her cell phone. She dials the number Ned had given her last night. After a few rings he picks up. “Hello.” “Hey, Ned, it’s Brenda.” “Bren I know your voice.” “Yeah whatever, I just wanna know how you feel about Lois?” “What do you mean?” “Just what I said. How do you feel about her?” “I like her. She has a good personality, why?” “Great then when can you pick her up, never mind I’ll let you talk to her.”

Brenda runs down the stairs with Ned still on the phone. As she walks into the kitchen and begins talking to him again. “Yeah, uh huh. That’s great Ned. Oh you’ll never guess who’s sitting her. It’s Lois.” Brenda passes the phone over to Lois. “Here Lo talk to Ned.” Lois glares at her but takes the phone.

Brenda laughs before wrapping her hands around Sonny’s waist. Sonny smiles at the feel of her touch. “So you’re playing the matchmaker, huh?” “Of course, they just need a little push. Now what do you say you and me go eat out on the terrace?” “Sounds great baby.”

After finishing their breakfast Sonny and Brenda walk back into the kitchen to find Lois still on the phone completely engulfed in a conversation with Ned. Sonny looks at Brenda surprised. “I’m impressed. I’ve never seen her look like that.” Brenda just gives him a ‘I knew it’ look.

“Let’s go upstairs, get dressed and maybe we can find something fun to do together this afternoon.” Sonny smiles at her suggestion. “I could think of something involving less clothing and staying in that’s extremely fun to do today.” She playfully hits him on the arm. “Just do as I say and I’ll meet you in the living room in fifteen minutes.” “Okay baby.” He kisses her cheek before watching her go upstairs to her room.

Confessional -

Brenda: “Well Sonny basically brought up me and him having sex. I mean its not like I haven’t thought about it or that I don’t want to but I’m not sure that it’s the right time for us. I don’t want to see us move too fast and then break up. But that’s how I feel now, who knows I could feel differently in five minutes.”

Twenty-five minutes later Brenda comes walking down the stairs dressed to go out. She gives Sonny a bright smile as she walks over to him. He pulls her down on to his lap. “I thought you said fifteen minutes?” “Well I got a shower. I wanted to be clean for my man. You gotta problem with that?” He dimples. “Nope no problem at all.” He kisses her check before breathing in her scent. “Mmm. You smell good.” Brenda laughs. “That was the whole point.”

Mitch and Becca come walking in from the kitchen with David following them making loud sex noises. Lois comes down the stairs smiling from ear to ear. “Guess what? I got a date tonight. Well it’s not a date date but you know what I mean. Ned’s coming over here and we’re gonna hang out.”

“Wow that’s great Lo. See I told ya he likes you.” Lois sits down and hugs her. “Thanks Bren I owe ya.” “Oh I’m sure I’ll take you up on it.” “So what are you too doing this afternoon?”

“I don’t know. What are we doing Sonny?” He stands up and looks down at her. “That, beautiful, is for me to know and you to find out. Now I’ll be right back I have to make a phone call.” He walks into the other room and Lois raises her eyebrows. “I wonder what he has planned.” Brenda shrugs. “I have no idea.”

In the kitchen Sonny picks up the phone and dials a number. He does see Katie hiding under the table listening. “Hey Mike. Yeah in about an hour. Everything will be ready? 125 Easton Dr.? Yeah okay. Thanks. Talk to you later. Bye.” Sonny smiles as he hangs up the phone.
