"I am writing to let you and your fellow classmates know of the loss of my wife Connie Williams Griffith to cancer on December 18th, 2002. She fought a valiant but short fight with lung cancer that was not diagnosed until August [2002], after a bout of bronchitis. Connie was not a smoker and was in excellent health so we were all taken by complete surprise by the diagnosis. Her mother, Isabel Williams, is still very active and still comes into our insurance agency, C. Lee Williams & Associates, which carries the name of her dad to this day.
It is still tough losing her after 34 years of marriagae, but I did want her classmates to know of her passing. Pete Griffith"
