o Site Root: A:\
o Create the Cache
o Create an images folder using the Site Window off of the Site Root
TASK #3
Scenerio:
You are a webmaster hired to create a web page for a Family Video Store.
The owners want a page to display movie names, descriptions, and rental pricing information. The page is to show the names of 5 new releases, with a description of for each movie and a star rating (1=fair, 2=good, 3=excellent). The page must also include the price for rentals per day, and discuss the store's late charge policy.
The Video Store name will be: yourname (use your name) Video Store.
Ex: John Jones' Video Store
Lab Criteria:
The web page must include the following components:
Ø The <TITLE> element must display the video store name
Ø The page must also include the following components:
o A background color using a non-dithering color
Ø OR a background image if you desire
o Text, Link, Vlink, Alink colors using non-dithering colors
o A heading for the page appropriate to the content represented
o Use at least 2 images
o Use a Table to display the movies
o Create a link using mailto:youraddress to contact the webmaster
o The date created/last modified
Additional Criteria:
Ø Use the Assets Panel
o Copy at least one asset to favorites
Ø The entire page size cannot exceed 50k
Ø Name the file lab1.htm
Ø View the file in a browser
Ø View the HTML code created
What to turn in:
Copy the site as follows:
On the path provided by your instructor, create a folder with your last name preceded by your first initial, example: sjones. Copy the Site to that directory.
