Krissy stared out the window of the bus. She began to think of her aunt, and how hurt she must of been.

"So that was what she was trying to tell me" Krissy thought to herself. "Ned was not her father".

Krissy could feel her eyes stinging with tears. Why would her mother lie to her? she felt so betrayed. None of this was making sense. Krissy wiped the tears that fell from her eyes.

When the bus finally arrived, Krissy just sat on a bench outside the bus station.

"I can't go home yet".

Krissy sat there which felt like a decade. She looked at her watch, it was getting late. She hopped in the first cab and headed home.

"Krissy you're home, I was getting a little worried. I called Cally's and there was no answer" Alexis stared at Krissy.

"I um, we-" Krissy stopped and stared back at her mother. She felt like just blurting out she knew the truth.

"Krissy are you alright? you look so pale! are you coming down with something...here let me get you some orange ju-"

"NO!" Krissy cut her off .."Mom why? why did you tell me Ned was my father?" tears started rolling down her cheeks and Krissy was even shocked at her own words.

Alexis's heart stopped and she just stared at Krissy praying she had heard wrong. "Excuse me?"

"YOU HEARD ME!!!"

"Kristina that is crazy wh-who I mean where are you coming up with this?"

"I saw him MOTHER!!"

Him? you saw who?" Alexis couldn't get the shakiness out of her voice

"Ned! I went to visit him because I had some questions and he told me...he said I wasn't his daughter?"

"YOU DID WHAT?? how the hell did you get there? what possessed you to do such a crazy no wait STUPID thing?"

"STOP YELLING AT ME!!! EVERYONE but ME seemed to know Ned and Aunt Kristina were involved around the time she died, so my question was, how did you get pregnant with me? did Ned cheat on her? ok that was what I thought but it obviously upset Ned and he told me! he loved her mom! he loved her and never cheated on her with you".

Alexis started to cry "why didn't you come to ME!? you had no right going behind my back, you interfering with stuff that should be LEFT ALONE!!!"

"Why? why is all this so important!!! huh? god mom I made a complete fool out of myself I actually thought I had a brother and sister...I yelled at Ned about leaving us and-"

"STOP IT!!" Alexis cut her off "I would have lost you, I-" Alexis stared into Kristina's eyes and it was as if looking at her sister.

"Lost me? how? please MOM!! I just wanna know the truth!?!".

Alexis put her hands on her head "I can't do this!!!" her tears were rolling down her cheeks

"Mom, why did you lie to me? and why did Ned pretend to be my father?"

Alexis sat down and tried to catch her breath "please Kristina, why are you digging up the past, my reason's don't matter anymore".

"Mom, please tell me..you obviously had a good reason!".

"Everything I did back then was for YOU! everything..."

Krissy stared deep into her mother's eyes and almost didn't recognize her "Mom...who is my father?"
