~Chapter Three~
"Who wants microwave popcorn?" shouted Krissy from the kitchen
"well I definitely do" replied Alexis giving Cameron a little smile. She knew what he was thinking, he always teased her when she would make a meal out of that stuff".
"So dad you up for a chick flick tonight?" Zander looked at the movie they had rented and just laughed, like I'm in the mood for this?" he continued
"Now Alezander...you can't bail on us now, we barely get to see you anymore" Cameron stared at his son and was thankful everyday that they had worked out their differences.
"POPCORN!!!" said Krissy carrying two big bowls
"I'll take this one" said Alexis grabbing the biggest bowl
"Mom now come on you have to share with dad"
"Like dad would eat that? its not umm how does he say it? grown organically" Zander couldn't keep a straight face
They all laughed.
After the movie was finished Krissy carried the empty bowls into the kitchen. "That was a good choice" said Alexis giving her daughter a kiss on the forhead.
"Not sure how dad and Zander thought about it" laughed Krissy
"Oh I'm sure secretly they loved it too" joked Alexis.
"hmm yeah thats why dad fell asleep within the first 15 minutes".
"are you two lovely ladies talking about me?" in walked Cameron, Alexis had a guilty expression on her face.
Alexis then put on her straightest face "us? no never!".
Krissy laughed "well I'm off to bed, I have to wake up early. I have to get a head start on my history project".
"Like mother, like daughter" said Cameron
"Thats my girl" Alexis gave Krissy a quick hug and she headed up to bed.
Krissy pulled out her journal the picture of her aunt Kristina fell out. Krissy had kept the picture in her journal ever since she was thirteen. She picked it up and held it to the light. "She was so beautiful" said Krissy to herself. Her mother always told her how much the two looked like each other. Krissy didn't see it! her aunt had beautiful long red hair and green eyes where as Krissy had shorter dark hair and dark eyes and cute little dimples on each cheek. She knew she must have got the dark hair and eyes from Ned.
"Krissy??? Krissy wake up!" Krissy opened her eyes, who was calling her?
"Its ok Krissy it's me Kristina.....come with me" Kristina motioned Krissy to come with her
"Wh-what? am I dreaming? h-how are you in my room?" Krissy must have blinked a dozen times but that didn't change Kristina from being right next to her.
"shhhhhh" Kristina put her finger up to her lips "don't be afraid I just want to show you something". Krissy got up from her bed and started to follow Kristina down the hallway.
"wh-where are you taking me?" stuttered Krissy
Kristina began fumbling through Alexis's desk, Kristina was frantically looking for something. "It has to be here!" she cried
"wh-what are you looking for?"
"This!" Kristina pulled out a picture of Ned
"My father!?!" Krissy looked closely at the picture, why had Kristina showed her a picture of her father?
Kristina held the picture and ripped it in half
Krissy opened her eyes! she looked at her alarm clock it read 3:46am
"I was dreaming" she said aloud "That was so creepy, it felt so real". Krissy turned on her lamp and opened up her journal.....the picture of her aunt was gone!
