"Hey girlfriend!!" said Cally as she opened the door "mmmm you brought goodies?" Cally examined the bag Krissy was holding.

"Yeah well you can thank my mom" smiled Krissy "she totally knew what we were up to".

"She's not going to tell my parents...Right!?" Cally expression turned serious.

"Chill! my mom's cool, underneath all that attorney talk and tailored suits she's not so bad".

Cally laughed "I know its just if I'm caught Kris my mom is going to freak, and then I'll be grounded for life and then there's no way I will be able to see Daniel, thats if this party goes as planned".

"ohh really?? and what exactly do you have planned?" asked Krissy

"Not sure yet" Cally started to smile Krissy burst out laughing "You're such a dork!" she continued to giggle

"Hey!!! shut up, Mrs. I'veNeverBeenKissed".

"Have so" blushed Krissy

"oh yeah?? well Ronny Briggs in first grade does not count" Cally gave her a fake punch on the shoulder

"Whatever" said Krissy turning around

They both jumped at the sound of the phone

"Maybe its Danny" teased Krissy

"Shut up!" Cally picked up the phone "hello?"

Krissy saw as Cally's expression turned serious "Oh! Hi mom.....yep everthing is great! Krissy's over, we're going to work on our history project".

Krissy couldn't help but let out a little giggle

Cally turned towards Krissy and stuck her finger up to her mouth and formed a "shhh" motion. "Yeah Aunt Lulu said she won't be late, but everything is great! how'd dad's concert go??........yep! love you too.......ok....bye mom".

Cally hung up the phone, "so what do you say I make that call to Danny?"

"Go ahead"

"Ok let me go grab his number" Cally ran upstairs

Krissy shook her head as her friend darted up the stairs. Krissy grabbed her sleepover bag and took out her journal she opened it quickly to make sure the picture of her aunt was still inside it.

"Whats that?" Krissy jumped at the sound of Cally's voice

"A picture of my aunt"

"ohhh let's see" Cally took the picture from Krissy "WOW she looks just like you!"

"Not really" she replied taking the picture back

"You must have got you're father's dark hair and eyes" Cally looked at Krissy

"Thats for sure!.....anyway did you get the number?" Krissy quickly said changing the subject

"Right here" Cally waved the little piece of paper

Krissy passed Cally the phone

"okay!" Cally took a deep breath and dialed his number

"oh my god its ringing"

Krissy rolled her eyes and laughed

"Hello?" Daniel picked up the phone

"Hey, um Danny er Daniel?" Cally started to blush

"yeah!" he replied

"hey! hows it going? it's Cally"

"Hi whats up?"

"Well I'm having this huge party tonight and well I was just wondering if you wanna come and bring whoever".

There was a long silence. Krissy looked over at Cally and whispered "soooo!??".

"Umm, yeah sure! I'll talk to some of the guy's and yeah maybe we'll stop by".

"Okay! cool, so maybe I'll see you later".

"k cool, bye"

"Bye" Cally put down the phone and screamed "oh my god Daniel Thornhart is coming to MY house" she started to jump up and down. Krissy threw a pillow at Cally's face.

"This is going to be the best party ever!" Cally tossed the pillow back at her.
