One Crazy Summer
Georgie Jones & Lulu Spencer

Georgie sat in her room looking through old pictures. She still couldn't believe her high school days were over. She stopped when she came to a picture of her and Lulu, it was the one she had kept up in her locker. Georgie started to get tears in her eyes. She was going to miss her best friend when summer came to an end. "Don't think of that yet!" she thought to herself, there was still 2 months to enjoy and this was going to be the best summer ever.

In the fall Lulu was going to California to take fashion design at UCLA, while Georgie decided to stay in Port Charles and attend PCU.

"Coming!" shouted Lulu as she ran down the stairs to answer the door.

"Package for Leslie Lu Spencer?"

"That would be me" Lulu signed the papers and examined the package.

Her father she thought to herself, it had no return address on it so she knew right away it was from him.
She opened it up and inside was a letter along with what looked like a journal.

Princess,

I wish I could have seen your graduation, but as you know that is impossible. The other day I started thinking of our ice fishing adventures and realized that was a lifetime ago. You were such a little girl when I saw you last, now you would be all grown up! I wish I could see the beautiful woman you have become. I'm not one to do letters but I really just wanted you to know how proud I am of you.
Give Cowboy my love and tell him to fight off any boys that try and take you out.
I will be in touch soon!
Love Always,

Your Father

Lulu wiped the tears off her cheeks. It had been almost two years since she heard from him. She often couldn't fall asleep at night because she would be wondering where he was and if he was still alive. She will never forget the night Lucky and Nikolas came to her and said her mother was being sent away to get better, and then less than a week later telling her her father was not coming home. When she was older she learned it was because he was protecting her mother from the truth, the truth that she had murdered Rick and her father had taken the blame.

Lost in her thoughts Lulu remembered the rest of the package...A Journal, she opened it up at it read: "Poetry By Laura Spencer"

"Mom!!" Lulu whispered to herself.

Inside was poetry written by Laura when she was the same age Lulu is now
