Books And Reading

This hobby of reading I wish would have started earlier, but it started in my 12th standard's Vacation only. There was a book fair in Ahmedabad, and my father bought some books from it. Yes all were Gujarati only. My mother tongue.

The first book that I read was "NANO TARLO", which means small star, by Father Wallace. Head of Mathematics Department at St. Xavier's Loyally, Ahmedabad!! Born in Spain, but a citizen of India. What influenced most is his writing which depicts beautifully the essence of Indian culture and traditions. Though being a foreigner, he knew more then I did, and that catastrophically lead me to a good path, a path that changed the way I looked to the world, a path of wisdom.

After that I read only Gujarati Books (literature) for some time as I didn't actually knew or had less access to English Novels. The English books were just the technical ones that were as a textbook to the syllabus. (Though I used to read and refer more technical books searching for the topic which was shown in the easiest way I can understand.) Then after my college, when I joined a coaching institute for preparation of CAT, and went to CROSSWORD, I came across many interesting books, like THE ALCHEMIST, MEN ARE FROM MARS & WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS, WHO MOVED MY CHEESE!, THE GOAL, etc.

You can suggest me a few book if you liked some.
