RULES AND REGULATIONS

These are the BASIC rules for the members as well as Ops on Ghungroo'z. Most of them are self-explanatory and are just common, no-nonsense rules. By the way, who are we to make rules??? We personally hate rules!! But without 'em, Ghungroo'z will never survive, considering the bunch of troublemakers wandering about there! So plz bear . . .

"Rules & Regulations" and Guidelines to all MEMBERS

1.

No flooding the Main Ghungroo'z Message Board. (Repetitive typing of same or other lines causing other members a nuisance)

|
2.
|
No using the Message Board for personal advertisements.
|
|
3.
|
Spamming is strictly prohibited. Due to limited control over spamming in AG, users caught spamming can & will be debarred from the rest of the group.
|
|
4.
|
Perverted talk or indecent behaviour will not be tolerated!
|
|
5.
|
Username or nick of the member should not be overtly sexual or offensive in any way.
|
|
6.
|
Any complaint lodged by any member against anyone, shall be met & dealt with at the soonest.
|
|
7.
|
No using the Group Message Board for posting fake news & other irrelevant material.
|
|
8.
|
Group members can use the group message board for requesting songs.
|
|
9.
|
Also, if you do not mind being sent unrequested songs, you can let all know on the group message board.
|
|
10.
|
Members caught in violation of any of the above 'rules' shall qualify for a smooth kick out of the group! ;-)

"Rules & Regulations" and Guidelines to all OPERATORS
|

1.
|
All above rules also apply for operators (with some exceptions).
|
|
2.
|
Operators are authorized to kick all "Menace to the Society"'s.
|
|
3.
|
Operators not using their rights accordingly, can be barred from operatorship & even from the Group!
|
|
4.
|
On Ghungroo'z we don't allow indecent nicks that have certain references to obscenity, nor do we have place for troublemakers, such as Spammers. However, also be aware that the person may be a newbie and might need your assistance with changing his attitude. After all, nobody was born a "Know-all-rules".

Incase of disagreement between Ops, plz maintain order and do not argue in the main Message Board! You can maintain your presence in the group "SMOOTH_OPERATORS" for resolving silly issues. Contact the Owner when differences arise.

Do not De-Op other Ops. De-opping Ops reflects bad on the group so please refrain from it. Please follow the Group rules scrupulously. Fight between Ops adversely affects image of the Group and also the ability of other Ops to enforce the rules.

7.
|
In case a member is violating rules, first warn him/her. Then if the member persists give him/her a last call. If the member has been violating rules over a period of time, then there is no need to warn the person as the person is aware of the rules. It is preferable to ban that individual.

8.
|
Incase you receive mass complaint against a user, ban that user after giving only one warning call. (3 or more individual complaints against a single member can qualify for a mass complaint.)
|
|
9.
|
Ops not responding to mass complaints can be De-Operated and even kicked from the Group.
|
|
10.
|
Remember, we are not here to police the morals of the members. If a user is in an undesirable group (a sexoriented group) that is not enough reason to kick out the member as long as the person follows our rules. You may request the user to leave those groups. If the user has been violating the rules over a period of time, and has ignored various requests to desist, request him/her a last time to leave the Group or change his/her attitude.

So you thought all that an Op does is Kick! Well, THIS is what an Op shud do :-
a) Moderating the Group
b) Scorching for good & latest music
c) Establishing the friendliest relation with all members
d) Getting more recruitments into the Society (The more the merrier!)
e) Keeping all members abreast with the latest News & Info
f ) Keeping track of other rival Groups and stay a step ahead of 'em. (U gotta enter their regime, & Spy!! lol )
g) Maintain this website (It's not as easy as i thought ! ).
h) ... and KICK. lol ;-)
