| Frank died at the age of 43 on June 8. He was my second buddy with Whitman Walker. I didn't know Frank as well as I'd like to. He was very quite and one of the first to live in a group home provided by Whitman Walker |
| Dusty died on March 9 at the age of 43. He was well known by people in the community at the time as being a champion for Whitman Walker. I remember spending time with him under a tree at a retreat that was to teach us how to deal with death and loss. Still working on that retreat. | Ken died in September 30 at the age of 40. I remember him dancing more than anything else and the time he spent with Gary. Put Ken Lewis' name in the Names Project search field and you will see three quilt panels were made with his name on it (only two are his-Block 4349 and 1720). |

| Aeron died on October 18 at the age of 33. I just remember the times he was at Dupont Circle on Sundays when everyone was at Dupont Circle. |

| Ray died on November 11 at the age of 33. Gosh, what can you say about Ray, but his smile, his friendship with so many in our circle and of course dancing. Put Ray Chavez's name in the Names Project search field and you will see a quilt panel made in his memory with "Cha Cha" on it. |

| I don't know how old Patrick was or what date he died. I do know he was in his very early 20s. I also remember his gay brother John who I lost touch with. I remember the times Patrick, I and others in the family all spent at Peter's house in preparation for night to fall. |

| Tim died at the age of 42 in December. I didn't know him except as a member of the Capitol View Club where I worked. He was a well known lobbyist for the Democratic Party. |
