My Tribute to the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave
I heard the sound of taps one night, When everything was still. I listened to the bugler play, and felt a sudden chill. I wondered just how many times, That taps had meant "Amen". When a flag covered a coffin, of a brother or a friend. I thought of all the children, of the mothers and the wives, of fathers, sons, and husbands, with interrupted lives. I thought about a graveyard, at the bottom of the sea, of unguarded graves in Arlington, No, freedom is not free.

"I watched the flag passs by one day it fluttered in the breeze.  A young airman
airman saluted it, and then ,he stood at ease.  I looked at him in uniform, so young, so tall, so proud; with hair cut square and eyes alert, he'd stand out in any crowd.  I thought how many men like him had fallen through the years, how many died on foreign soil? How many

This sight is dedicated to all service members and we must not forget that in this country we have service members who are not in uniform, not on a payrole, and not asking for any recognition, but we must award and give testimony to these individuals
who put there lives on hold to give to the greater good of all mankind.  I of course am talking about those individuals who voluntare and ask nothing in return.  I salute you and award you the only way I can I give to you my respect and graditude.

It is not the critic that counts; nor the person the points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the person that is actully in the arena.  Who's face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiently who errs and comes up short again and again, who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devosions nd spends himself in a worthy cause, who at best knows in the end the triumph of high achievments who at the least if he fails at least fails while daring greatly; so his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

WORDS TO LIVE BY
LINKS WORTH LOOKING OUT
overseas, I know of the sacrifices that are made and the hardships endured.  You put your life, blood, and effort into serving our great nation and defend it from the evils that seek to destroy our bond as brothers and sisters.  You few who have the heart and determination it takes to maintain our nation's great libertys and freedoms that we hold with great honor in our spirits and souls for all eternity.  So to all the service members from the Marines at Normandy to the law enforcement agents on the streets at night.  I say "Thank you."
It took me some time to finally decide what I was going to do with this site I didn't know if I should make it humorous or serious or just about me. After a few days of pondering my options I came up with the decision to do a site dedicated to all the men and women who have served our nation in its times of piece and its times of need.  I am an armed  service member currently
