Heitor Villa-Lobos
Etude No.1 (Des Arpeges)
Tuning: EADGBE Key: E minor
Comments: This is part of the 12 guitar studies written by
Villa-Lobos around 1929, dedicated to Andres Segovia, who would
comment later: "They (the etudes) contain at the same time formulae
of surprising effectiveness for the development of technique for both
hands and "disinterested" musical beauties, without didactic purpose,
which have the permanent aestethic value of concert works"

Choro no.1
Tuning: EADGBE Key: G major Sample:
Temporarily down...
Comments: The name "choro" means "cry" in brazilian. This
is a very famous rythm, something like Bossa-Nova. This isn't a
difficult piece, but has some tricky parts that require some
practice, but once you get the feel, it sounds great! NOTE: I'm
working on a better tab, this was the first one I wrote, so don't
expect too much...:-)
