Fantastic News!!!
Lynne was released from Bayfront Medical Center
on Friday, October 6th.
She is able to walk on her own. She is also able to talk
with anyone who cares to call. Her number is 394-7929.
Please do not call until after 4:30pm
since she is in physical therapy all day long.
The doctors will allow her to do very little around the house,
which includes not cooking meals.
This is an area we all can help out with.
Jeannie is working on a schedule to get meals to
Lynne's family. Lynne has a family of 5.
Please contact Jeannie (Lowe) at 573-9350 if you wish to contribute.
If you do not cook but still want to help, she has suggestions.
Thank you all so much for your thoughts, prayers, and kind words
for Lynne as she and her family dealt with this horrible tragedy.
And let's remember that she has a very long road
ahead of her and can still use our support.
(Note from Malisa)
In maintaining this page, I have had the pleasure of
reading first hand some of the things said regarding Lynne.
It has truly touched my heart to know we have such
wonderful, caring people in our class.
I thought you all were great 20 years ago, and I
know you are even more wonderful now.
God
Bless You All!

Great News!!!
Lynn has come out of the coma!
She is aware and is able to recognize her family.
At times her communication is slow but this is
typical with people coming out of a coma.
She has been moved to Bayfront Medical Center, but is still
in ICU, so visitation is restricted.
Apparently, she is able to move her right side,
with assistance, and this is very encouraging.
Your cards and letters have been greatly appreciated,
so keep 'em coming!
updated 8/26 4:00 p.m. EST
Since the last update, Lynne has awaken a few times,
but is still pretty much non-responsive.
She has however, been breathing on her own,
which is a great sign.
Her husband has also been given the approval to have
her moved back here to Florida.
We do not know yet when this will happen,
nor which hospital she will be at.
I'll keep everyone posted as soon as I know more.
updated 8/22 7:30 a.m. EST
Lynne woke up for a short time on Sunday!
She was not able to speak, but was able to identify
her children from pictures.
Unfortunately, she then fell back in to the coma.
Even though that happened, it's still encouraging
to know that she woke up for awhile.
updated 8/18 6:30 a.m. EST
Yesterday, Lynne moved a finger on her left hand,
which is encouraging.
However, she is still in a coma.
There is a possibility of her losing her right eye,
and she may be partially paralyzed.
She is still on a breathing machine, but that
may be removed in a few days to see
if she is able to breath on her own.
Please,
let's keep Lynn and her family
in our thoughts and prayers.
