I went to the H.Roe Bartle Scout Reservation that was like the way it was, filled with trees, buildings kept just the way they were for decades. But there's no church services, because we're in heaven now. Why have a sermon telling you to bring people to heaven when you're already in heaven? Why tell people to give to the poor when poverty no longer exists? But you can go to the chapel and physically see God in all his glory and power, not even disguised as a man anymore. And camp is free to the leaders and scouts without a campership. Events cost no money and nobody can die of heat stroke or heat anything, nor can they die of freezing anything. And you can walk through poison ivy without itching, and mosquitos either just tickle you or they are replaced by kissing pixies. Skunks spray you with the smell of pizza, lollies smell like flowers, and you can swim in the camp latrines without getting sick. No prickly heat results from sitting in the sun, and you can shoot a shotgun without getting fat bruises, even if you don't hold it the right way. There's also Coke here, but it doesn't eat away your teeth like it does on earth, nor does it dehydrate you like it does on earth. And time isn't structured at this camp. Taps and reveile are played just so you can feel the full benefit of sleeping through it, and the breakfast call, all without punishment. And I can fly, zoom across the camp, flying 1-5 feet above the ground. Oh, and there's Mic-O-Say here, too. Being rich won't get you anything here, especially not the high ranks, like chieftain, unless you're talking about spiritual wealth. Those scout leaders who spend the most time, effort and money to help kids, helping them to become healthy, self sufficient adults, get promoted. Those who try their hardest to get promoted on earth, but fail because they lack money or prestige, get promoted to Medicine Man or chieftain or get put in the tribal council here. But the chiefs and elders on earth's micosay are demoted to braves and foxmen and warriors.
