Back to Heaven Diary Index

Ahhhh! That was the most refreshing rest I've ever had! Now back to work. It's funny how I like work now. Back on earth, it was so difficult! You almost killed yourself mowing the grass, and you never could scrub around the corners of the toilet. But work's a lot easier now. You don't even need a resume to get a job here. Here, your resume is your heart. My deeds don't mean much to God. They're just what I was supposed to do. I'm sure this wouldn't fly on earth. On earth, you have to have perfect spelling on resumes, perfect grammar and short, concise and well thought out resumes to impress employers. There was always a competitive drive between you and everyone else. Here in heaven, though, there's always a niche for you. Even if you do a lot of missspeallingus.
It helps to read minds. Here in heaven, you can read people's thoughts from their faces and eyes. It's okay, since nobody has any secrets, or embarrassing bodily problems or occurrences. Evil has been destroyed, so we don't have anything worth hiding. It's all good, baby.
It's okay to be sloppy at your job here. Most of the time, we work hard, though. We always find the right jobs we could keep doing endlessly without being bored or exhausted. If you can't help your sloppiness, it's okay. Other people don't mind. There isn't any threat to life or limb anymore. That life has already passed.
