Bro.Jim,
Do I have to repeat my answers to you on the 3 verses? If I have to, then here are my explanations:
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" John 6:37
I believe that the Father gives to Christ the believers. Those who believe come to Christ. Christ will not cast out those who come to Him.
"No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day" John 6:44
I believe that man by nature is sinful and will not come to Christ apart from God's grace. I believe that sinful man can come to God under His grace. Resurrection is a fact that will occur on the last day, as Christ will resurrect the believers to life and the unbelievers to damnation.
"As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him" Jn.17:2
I believe that God has authority over all flesh to give eternal life
to those the Father has given Him. The Father has given to Christ those
who believed and so Christ gave them eternal life.
You may now question my belief and please answer also my questions.
1. Are the elect in the hand of Christ in eternity?
2. Do the elect have eternal life in eternity?
3. Are the elect spiritually alive in eternity?
4. Are the elect actually saved in eternity?
5. Are the elect spiritually in union with Christ in eternity?
6. Does Christ give eternal life to unbelievers?
7. Can you show a verse that it pleases God to save the unbelieving
person?
God bless,
Edwin
