                    In the stillness of my memories
               Held close in my distant past
              The essence of your love
              I can remember at last

               The way you made me laugh
               The way you made me smile
              The feelings we shared
                As we walked those distant miles

               The ancient love for me
               Retained in eyes so deep
              Held up for me to see
               My love   you made me weep

                For nothing in the future
                Or any thing else I find

                 And as I walk through my new journey
