Death of a Soul

death of a soul always comes in stages

its been observed throughout all the ages

everyone judges and laughs at the village fool

but what they don't realize the the insanity is a tool

its just the breath of fresh air that covers the troubled

when the pain in their life has them over and doubled

everyone chuckles as they watch the release

as the final breaths are let go and the soul becomes deseased

so the next time you observe someone talking to themselves remember

they aren't alone there in their lives december

there is an angel with them begging and pleading

when death is all the person really is needing

don't judge just contemplate how the misery took its tole

and the fact that the poor "village idiot" is releasing his soul.
