To What distance do we measure our love,
For to do so would place ending upon birth in motion
Yet plagued without knowledge of intent
                                                  Haunts to disturb the mind,
Causing thoughts to take shallow breaths
Hushing speech inside a whispered flow
And stifled becomes a vessel to pour
                                                  And quench the thirst
To what height, which level, do you wish to fly
To reach where only my own
                                                  Warm oils of love dwell
                                                   Spilling over your skin
                                                    Sinking deep within your soul
To spread beyond your measured boundries
                                                   Breaking into the unknown
Allowing our love to ride the distance,
Gliding over the point of no return
Where the power of love makes us whole
                                                  To receive this gives meaning
                                                  to my existence
Without you now, would be my demise
