Could a
red cardinal,
With
vivid mystical wings,
Soar
this high and land
Gently
tween fluffly
forest dreams.
I
whisper to beckon
you closer,
Cradling
you sweetly
Into
deft hands which created
Paper
aeroplane dreams
Where
you can fly above me.
I gazed
into a blue shrouded sky,
Watched
you as you slowly winged
Your way
through the clouds
Reaching
universal starlight.
Faster
you thought,
Higher
you moaned with glee.
For this
simple plane
Floating
with the calming breeze
Was not
adequate to please.
I knew
you needed to be in control.
Craving
a remote control plane,
To zoom
away past haunts,
And rush
onto others.
With a
slow descend
Despair
upon your face
Tears
beneath your paper
Aeroplane
wings appeared.
Graciously, i let it fly alone.
