Fire Emblem 3 was the first game on SNES. The characters are Marth, Alan, Roddy, Luke, Cecil, Doga, Gordon, Ryan, Malessia, Katua, Warren, Linda, Julian, Marchis, Sirius, Oguma, Yumbello, Yumina, Seeda, Ricardo, Samuto, Navvare, Fina, George, Banetou, Minerva, Maric, Elren, Chainy, Chiki, Abel, Est, Astoria, Sheema, Samson, Roshe, Medea, Rena, Nina, Maria, and Ellis. If Marth dies, the game is over, so if you play this game, protect him to the best of your ability or game over. By the way here's my opinion on characters up to Chapter 1 of the game!

Fire Emblem 3 Characters:
Chapter 1:
Marth is the main character, and i'll just use his SSBM trophy info =P

The betrayed prince of the Kingdom of Altea, the blood of the hero Anri flows in Marth's veins. He was forced into exile when the kingdom of Dolua invaded Altea. Then, wielding his divine sword Falchion, he led a revolt and defeated the dark dragon Medeus. Afterwards, Altea was annihilated by King Hardin of Akanea.

That basically covers his info in this game. Marth is awesome, he starts average at first, but once you give him a few level ups, he'll definately become great. Expect him to max speed without even any effort!

Class: Lord Overall: 8/10 Looks: Do...I really gotta explain? Unless you haven't played SSBM?! He has blue hair and blue clothing

Alan is some fruity paladin and I forgot where the hell he came from (besides the fact he's the Captain of Altea's knights).

Oh man, he SUCKS. Okay? Don't bother, use him early on, but don't even use his Silver Spear. Give it to someone else, preferably someone a LOT cooler

Class: Paladin Overall: -5,000/10 Looks: Blonde hair, pink armor

Roddy is a social knight from the temple, and loves Cecil

He's not bad. Actually, you level him up and he can get good before the end of the game. But really, you get even better people his class later on. He looks kinda cool

Class: Social Knight Overall: 7.75/10 Looks: Brown hair, green armor

Luke is some guy I don't know about who doesn't deserve Skywalker's name, as well as the rival of Roddy

Luke...disgraces Mr. Skywalker's name XD He's not that bad, but not that good either. I personally suggest against using him.

Class: Social Knight Overall: 6.99/10 Looks: Green hair, blue armor

Cecila is the leader of the group of knights from the temple along with Luke and Roddy

If you like girls fighting, she'll not be too bad actually. She's average at best, but she gets pretty fast and all. Sadly, there are STILL better

Class: Social Knight Overall: 7.5/10 Looks: Almost all pink, just remember that

Gordon's one of Altea's archers, he also has a little bro named Ryan

Not bad, but too bad his little bro will kick his ass. Still, need more archers? Take this guy

Class: Archer Overall: 7/10 Looks: Older looking guy with green hair

Ryan's Gordon's little brother, also one of Altea's archers

Forget his older bro, he pwns his older bro and is your best archer of the game. USE HIM! His Strength and Speed get INSANE

Class: Archer Overall: 9/10 Looks: Younger looking guy with green hair

Doga is another knight of Altea

Doga is...not bad. He'll be good for a while, if you want an Armor Knight right when you wanna go through the whole game, this guy's who you want

Class: Armor Knight Overall: 7/10 Looks: Green hair, huge armor

Malessia is a cleric from a tiny village in Grunia. Apparently she agrees to go with Marth and return safely

Only healer you'll get thats good. And I mean that, her power goes up like mad o_o. Just...use her, she will be a LOT better than the other person you get of her class

Class: Sister Overall: 9/10 Looks: Gray hair, white robes, what'd ya expect? How to get her?: Head to the village

Chapter 2:
Katua's one of the three pegasus sisters. The mid-aged of the two, and the second cutest in my opinion. =P But i'm kinda biased ^_^'

It is just too bad her stat growth sucks, but she's still good at least defense-wise. Use her, because you will get something kickass later in the game if you do. Don't let her die!.

Class: Pegasus Knight Overall: 8/10 Looks: Short blue hair, brown armor I think.

Warren? He has a crush on Katua, but do you seriously think I know much else about him?

This dude lacks plot, and while he looks badass, he really is just average. Talk about a disappointment. Good HP growth though, which most hunters that promote into horsemen seriously lack.

Class: Hunter Overall: 6.5/10 Looks: Blonde hair, wears a black bandana, muscular looking. How to get him?: Talk to him with Katua

Chapter 3:
Linda's a mage. I think she resides in castle Bares in this game, as the priestess.

She's great, but if only her strength (yes, Strength. Not magic. But it effects magic somehow) grew a lot more. Seriously. Expect it to not pass 9 without some help overall. Give her a few orb fragments else you might get screwed later in the game. But she does get Aura (Most powerful magic spell in the game) all to herself, and can use the female-only Riazzah. So she isn't too bad.

Class: Mage Overall: 8/10 Looks: Long brown hair, pink clothes.

Paola's the oldest pegasus sister. Not cute, but she does look awesome. Wow, sounding weird am I?

Awesome. I mean, seriously. LEVEL 10 PEGASUS KNIGHT flying around in Chapter 3 slaughtering everything but the kitchen sink. I seriously don't see why you can't use her. Also comes with a Silver Spear, and will probably be the first one to promote into a Dragon Knight.

Class: Pegasus Knight Overall: 9/10 Looks: Long green hair, brown armor.

Julian's some redhead thief with a crush on Rena. Who happens to be gone for the time being.

This guy's so awesome he even got his own battle sprite. Dude, who said you needed someone with bulky spiked armor and huge swords to rock here? Give him a few level ups and he will rock. Give him a Kill Sword, and you can yell "Let the bodies hit the floor!" Oh yeah, and he can also open doors and chests without any keys necessary.

Class: Thief Overall: 9.5/10 Looks: Red hair, yellow clothes

Marchis is Rena's brother. Dumb looking at that.

The starter of "My god this knight looks like crap" syndrome in FE. I'm seriously not sure how the hell he has a mohawk in a medieval setting, but he's not really worth leveling up too much. He's outclassed, mainly. Whether you need exp. or you're desperate for a javelin is up to you. Just don't use him for too long.

Class: Social Knight Overall: 6.99/10 Looks: Red mohawk, blue armor. Looks like he could've lost on Jeopardy imo. How to get him?: Talk to him with Julian.

Chapter 4:
Oguma's from Talis. I think he's a retainer, if not, at least a protector of Sheeda. This time, he's Yumbello's and Yumina's bodyguard.

"Let the bodies hit the floor!" No really, he's that good. Don't allow him to get killed, though it'll be pretty hard to get him killed in the first place. He starts off strong and stays strong.

Class: Mercenary Overall: 10/10 Looks: Short blonde hair, a "X" scar on his cheek.

Yumbello is the son of the deceased King Lui.

One of the most underrated characters of the game. He starts off pathetic, but give him time, and maybe orb fragments, and you'll find he's the best mage WITHOUT a unique spell. High strength growth, which all the other mages lack, would make you wonder why you might not use this guy besides the fact his starting stats really suck.

Class: Mage Overall: 9.5/10 Looks: Short blonde hair, blue robes.

Yumina's the daughter of the deceased King Lui

While her brother's the most underrated, she's the most OVERRATED of the game. Only good use for her is the Rescue Staff, which you better use to save Maric, Est (*_* Please use it when you see herrrrrrrrrrrrrr), and Medea. It also gets you out of a jam in some of the chapters you find your running away in. But otherwise, she's useless. Her strength hardly ever grows.

Class: Sister Overall: 5/10 Looks: Short blonde hair, white robes.

Sirius is seeking to protect Akanea's royalty. In reality, behind that mask he's actually the former Dark Knight Camus, who was in love with Princess Nina.

Best promoted unit you can possibly get, and you'll see why when you see him statwise. His growth isn't bad, but its his starting stats that make you use him. He can use the Gradeus and Miracle Sword from the get go, but you won't get those weapons so quickly. Use him, especially since he can get you out of a jam.

Class: Paladin Overall: 9.5/10 Looks: Short blonde hair, black armor. Wears a mask. How to get him?: Either Oguma talks to him, or he talks to Oguma. He will NOT attack you.

Kashim attends to his mother, mainly. In FE1, he worked with a group of bandits just to get cash to get medicine for his ailing mother.

This guy really owns Warren in just about every way. Use him. And his Killer Bow. You won't regret it.

Class: Hunter Overall: 8.75/10 Looks: Short blue hair, sad look on his face. How to get him?: Enter the northeasternmost village.

Chapter 5:
Sheeda's the princess of Talis. I won't ruin the relationship between Marth and her, though it would appear obvious by now.

Aw geez, she was so much cuter when she was younger. Honestly, but well, she isn't too good really. Not bad, but without anything awesome besides that Killer Lance you might not use her for too long.

Class: Pegasus Knight Overall: 7/10 Looks: Long blue hair, brown armor.

Ricardo...well, do I gotta explain him. Julian's godbrother I think.

You'll know him when you see him. Just recruit him for his Member's Card. He is such a PAIN to recruit though. Fighting-wise, he's okay after a few level ups, but he isn't anywhere as crazy as Julian.

Class: Thief Overall: 6.5/10 Looks: Long blue hair, winking at you. How to get him?: After chasing him through sniper hell, talk to him with Julian.

Chapter 6:
Samuto is a mercenary impersonating Navvare.

What a poser. He doesn't even own really, he sucks. He gets the best speed growth, but what use is that if your doing 1 damage? =P

Class: Mercenary Overall: 5/10 Looks: Long brown hair, crappy clothing. How to get him?: Talk to him with Oguma, then take his Kill Sword and orb fragment, and throw him in the hell known as storage.

Chapter 7:
Navvare is the Crimson Swordsman. He is not afraid to kill, though he doesn't not wish to hurt any women.

Forget Oguma, this guy seriously allows bodies to hit the floor very quickly. Sure, Oguma is also good, but so is Navvare. He also comes with a Kill Sword which makes him critical hit more. High stats too, USE HIM! You won't regret it.

Class: Mercenary Overall: 10/10 Looks: Long brown hair, blue robes. You can recognize him by the dark look on his face. =P

Fina's a dancer who actually has a crush on Navvare.

I kinda like the look she has on her face, lol. Ahem, she's awesome. Don't get me wrong, use her. Her stat growth is good and so is the fact she can give a second turn to anyone, which makes her invaluable in certain places. So seriously, use her.

Class: Dancer Overall: 8/10 Looks: Long pink hair, yellow clothes.

Wendel is just an old priest who warns of the stuff going on in Khadain to Marth.

Don't use him too much. All I have to say. Oh yeah. He looks like trash in battle.

Class: Priest Overall: 7/10 Looks: ...Old. All I need to say.

Chapter 8:
Kain is one of Marth's protectors, willing to risk his life for his lord's safety.

Looks like part 1 of the red/green squad from FE1 is back, and man this time you don't wanna underestimate him. He comes with a Killer Lance, and is already strong when you first get him. Use him, he pretty much can even slaughter Generals at his level.

Class: Social Knight Overall: 9.75/10 Looks: Red hair, red armor.

Banetou's an...old mamcoot. Very old.

He's not that good. Only use him for the ice dragon stages, where he proves useful. His skill rarely goes up, hence, he misses a lot at the end of the game. Don't rely on him too much. At least he can turn into a dragon. =P

Class: Mamcoot Overall: 4/10 Looks: Brown cloak, very old looking How to get him?: Enter the village.

George is the captain of Akanea's Archers.

Here comes Mr. Long haired archer. He isn't bad really, his stats start off great, his growth could sure use some work though. But he comes with an orb fragment, AND the Parita, one of the three legendary weapons of this game. Don't use the Parita as early as you get him, but surely keep him alive. He's useful especially in the dragon chapters.

Class: Sniper Overall: 7/10 Looks: Long blonde hair, orange clothes. Weird pose. How to get him? Talk to him with Gordon, then run for the place to conquer right behind George and take it as soon as possible. (Do not kill him in Chapter 5)

Chapter 9:
Minerva's the princess of Macedonia.

*sigh* She is not too good actually. Low HP for a Dragon Knight, her growth defense wise is great, but everything else is pretty poor. Don't rely on her a lot, even Sheeda owns her.

Class: Dragon Knight Overall: 6.99/10 Looks: Short red hair, red clothes. How to get her?: Enter the village.

Chapter 10:
Maric is a good friend of Marth's. Awaiting execution.

Don't let him die. Rescue him immediately. He's awesome, really. Excalibur rips the crap out of everyone almost. If only his magic were higher though...use him.

Class: Mage Overall: 9.5/10 Looks: Short green hair, blue robes.

Elren's Maric's Executioner, and was meant to kill him after Maric was sentenced to death.

The executioner can get pwned by the executed. Why? Elren doesn't have a lot GOING for him except for Torron. He's good, but heh...only for a while, his growth is not that good.

Class: Mage Overall: 7/10 Looks: Long wavy blonde hair, brown robes. How to get him?: Talk to him with Wendel.

Chapter 14:
Chainy's able to transform into just about anyone. Connected to Chiki plot-wise SOMEHOW.

He's a guy. Yes, a guy. He looks a lot like a girl at first, but he's a guy. The most versatile person in the game. He can transform into just about anyone, copying their stats except HP. However, his HP growth sucks and it also sucks when you first get him, so seriously give him some Angel Robes. One of my favorite characters.

Class: Commando Overall: 9/10 Looks: Girly looking short red hair, wears a feather in his hair. Red clothes.

Chiki's the princess of Narga.

...Can't afford to miss her. She's AWESOME, and even has the God Stone which turns her into a God Dragon. Only SHE can use it, and yes, its damn strong. Dragon Knights and other dragons will not like the Anti-Dragon breath owning them. She also gets defense from dragon attacks in that form. Even without it she's damn good with the other stones. Use her.

Class: Mamcoot Overall: 9.75/10 Looks: Long green hair, pink clothes. How to get her?: Have all 12 Star Orb Fragments or you aren't getting her.

Chapter 15:
Eh he. ^_^' Sorry, its just an art of Est not wearing her usual outfit. She's the youngest pegasus sister and apparently in love with Abel (Why Abel? Why? Move aside, she's mine!)

Anyhow!

She's damn awesome. I'm sorry. I might make a shrine for her on my site soon. Sure, she starts out unimpressive. But level her up! She will become awesome, and will max some stats easily. Sorry mercenaries, I prefer her over all of you. RESCUE HER PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE? PWETTY PWEASE?! =P Sorry ^_^' I had to get that out of my system.

Class: Pegasus Knight Overall: 11/10 Looks: Short pink hair, pink/brown clothes.

Abel's now a Paladin of Altea and fights against Marth. Until he has some sense smacked into him. In love with Est (As I said earlier, why Abel? Why?)

The second guy of the FE1 red/green duo. He's not as good as he use to be, but he still will own with a few level ups. Use him if you want, just ditch that crappy Knight Killer.

Class: Paladin Overall: 8/10 Looks: Green hair, green armor. How to get him?: Talk to him with Marth...or Est (I just prefer Est because hey, its Est. ^_^)

Chapter 16:
Astoria's that blonde moron thats been chasing you around in Chapters 7, 8, and 9 like mad with his infinite units coming to kick your ass. In love with Medea.

Okay, he is badass, but he isn't the best person you can get. He comes with the Miracle Sword though and starts off strong. His growth is even better than the likes of Oguma, but since he's promoted he won't get to that dangerous level.

Class: Hero Overall: 8.5/10 Looks: Short blonde hair, green armor. How to get him?: Talk to him with George. (Do not kill him in Chapters 7, 8, and 9)

Chapter 17:
Sheema is really an Orleanian girl who was put into power by Akanea. Actually rather kind and caring about the people of Gra.

She's the best one of her kind you get, not to mention the first female armor in FE history. Starting stats suck, but level her up and she will become awesome. Use her.

Class: General Overall: 9/10 Looks: Long brown hair, black armor. Red eyes. How to get her?: Talk to her with Marth, do not kill the Level 1 units.

Samson is a mercenary from Altea. However, this time he's with Sheema. Accompanying her I assume? Or in love? Feh, whatever.

He gets awesome starting stats, and stays strong actually. His growth however, is trash. And you may find it hard to use him later. Oh well, use him if you wish.

Class: Hero Overall: 8/10 Looks: Short blue hair, blue armor. How to get him?: Talk to him with Sheema.

Chapter 19:
Roshe is a paladin of Orleans, who serves Hardin.

I'm still puzzled on how he joins your army, but...another FE1 uber powerhouse that got screwed over. He is not that good now, sadly, due to his low stats for such a high level. His HP is good though, but you'll be hard pressed to get his stats to max out. AWESOME growth, but again, you'll need to use stat boosters and the Star Orb to get him to go anywhere. Hey, he does look weird though. Use him if you like FE1 spiffiness or just a weird looking dude. And at least you didn't get the rest of his crappy army.

Class: Paladin Overall: 6.5/10 Looks: Short purple hair, purple armor. How to get him?: Enter the village. (Do not kill him in Chapter 18)

Chapter 20:
Medea's the captain of Akanea's Knights. Knowing that George and Astoria turned on him, Emperor Hardin goes ahead and tries executing her. Loves Astoria.

Rescue her. But she isn't too good really. Her stats are unimpressive for her level especially HP. Roshe can own her badly because he gets more level ups and starts with even more HP to boot.

Class: Paladin Overall: 5/10 Looks: Short blue hair, pink armor.

Last Chapter:
Nina use to be in love with Camus (now Sirius), and considers her pairing with Hardin a wrong, and the crimes Hardin did.

Rena is in love with Julian.

Maric is in love with Ellis, who is Marth's older sister.

Maria is Minerva's younger sister.

All of these priestesses are under Garnef's spell. Talk to them with the mentioned characters and they'll snap out of it, and then make them RUN. None of them are good at fighting, so get them out of there. If you don't snap them out of it, Medeus will have quite a lunch.

Classes: Priestess Overall: 1/10 Looks: Nina: Long blonde hair, purple robes
Rena: Long red hair, white robes
Ellis: Long blue hair, white robes.
Maria: Short red hair, white robes.

Yep, thats all for the character list. If anymore FE related stuff I need to put comes up, i'll shove it here. See ya around. Back to home
