la Reine: the Queen
I've known the Angel and Lucy most of my life, and since they're my two best friend I introduced them to each other (they've never met in person). I started calling us the 3 sisterz, and it stuck (out of the three of us, I'm one month older than Lucy, and six months older than the Angel). I also started the original girlfriends, inc. (which combined two earlier newsletters, Get Real! Girls, and The BFC): I live halfway across the world from both of them, and the snail-mail newsletter was a way to stay in touch with my friends. Unfortunately, it died, and for an entire year I was bereft and grieving. No longer!
I was born almost 15 years ago in Nebraska, but moved before I was 4 months (everyone tells me I was lucky). As a military brat, I've lived all over the United States, and in Japan. I've been homeschooled my whole life (this means I'm 99% smarter than the average high schooler :), and I have many talents and virtues. Among my talents are singing, writing, and art. Among my virtues are generousity, honesty, and modesty.
When not excelling at my studies, I will be singing, reading (maybe both), or writing. If I'm not doing these, I will be carrying on long conversations with my cat, Gandalf the Gray, who habitually takes up more than his share of the bed.
My favorite colors: Blue (I designed the main page :), purple, green, red, and silver.
My favorite music: Christian, Celtic/Irish, Broadway, and some pop.
My favorite authors: JRR Tolkien, Robin McKinley, Brian Jacques, Elizabeth Moon, and Tamora Pierce (this is by no means a complete list).
Books I've read the most: Rose Daughter, Deerskin, Beauty, and The Blue Sword at 4 to 10 times, The Deed of Paksenarrion at 3 times, The Lord of the Rings at 2 times.
