Rockslide

This game requires a browser capable of running Java applets such as Netscape Navigator 3.0+ or MSIE 3.0+.

Rockslide is a fun game of action and logic.

The object of the game is get the Rocks to pass through the gates to the bottom. Each rock which makes it to the bottom will increase your score by one. Enter the rocks in the top green starting lanes. You and the computer will take turns adding rocks to the board. If two or more rocks fall through to the bottom in a single turn, the player gets another turn.

Use the various choice and option boxes to set, who moves first, the number of rows and columns on the board, the winning score (the score you play to). and the search level of the computer. Search levels 1 and 2 are very easy. In Level 1 it always makes the same choice, In Level 2 it makes a random choice. Levels 3 and 4 are more difficult as it analyzes the board more carefully.

Press the "New Game" button for your choices to take effect, or to start a new game. (These are the original directions from the author's page.)
