| #2 Samantha Elizabeth Meyers If I shall die Before confession Take my heart in your hand And listen. I loved only once. I loved only one. And I shall never love another For you are all I know You are all I want to know I'm sorry I never told you It doesn't seem fair That fate will never let us be one Now we are dimensions apart And I fear I shall never know you Again. It's not that I'll forget you But I will not know Of the love we would have shared Of the conversations we would have had I dreamt of you From the moment I opened my eyes 'Til the moment they shut. I imagined all the things we could have been All the things we would have said But now I trade those dreams For a blanket of darkness. I know I can never tell you Face-to-face my desires My dreams, my aspirations Because I waited too long So if I am dead, I am non-existent in vein Please forgive me for not Opening my soul sooner I love you... |
