House Gilliandor is a royal Elven household (Guild type: High Court) in the lands of Aerynth (for the MMORPG Shadowbane).  Being directly descended from the first Elven ruler of the first Elven Empire before the dawn of time, it is House Gilliandor's rightful place to rebuild and reclaim the Twilight Empire.

Those sworn under the House shall conduct themselves with honor and integrity.  Yet, we can not forgive the betrayal of the All-Father and his "children", the Humans.  Those who hunt us actively, such as the Temple of the Cleaning Flame and Cambruin's old Knights, shall be hunted in turn without mercy.  Those sons of man and other non Elf-kin who oppose us shall be delt with, either by ways political, or by force.  In this way, no one will oppse the reconstruction of the great Twilight Empire.

Rules

~          It is expected that all members play an active role in the guild.  This includes semi-freqent posting on the message board, along with being seen at our IRC chat channel, #gilliandor.

~          House Gilliandor is a role-playing guild following the official Shadowbane fiction.  We expect players to act accordingly, and be in-character at all times while in game.

~          Members are expected to treat follow House members (along with most fellow Elves) with the utmost respect at al times, unless given an exceptional reason.  We realize disputes happen, but we also expect them to be resolved in a civilized manner.

~          In previous games, how PvP and PvP loot was delt with was a big issue.  We believe at this time, there is not enough information to issue offical policies regarding this.  When more is known, guild leaders will issue rules regarding this.

~          Guild justice will be harsh and swift.  Expect little mercy for IC (in character) and OOC (out of character) crimes.  We are trying to rebuild an Empire, and thus have a more militaistic bent then most Noble Houses.  Traitors will not be tolerated, nor will thieves or any other law breaker.

~          Guild relations with other races are simple.  Do not tolerate insolence or insult.  Work to further the Empire and the Household.  Beyond that, how others are delt with is up to an individual character's perspective.

Hierarchy

~           Final say in any matter goes to Lord Xzean and Lady Sionell, being the Patriarch (In Elven Thaelostor) and Matriarch (In Elven Thaelostril) of House Gilliandor.  As a great deal of power lies in their hands, they in turn pledge to always work in the Houses best interest, and not their own.

~          The Lord and Lady will be advised by the Irmaelin, comprised of a Battle Commander (Fighter class), High Priest/Priestess (Healer type), High Magus (Mage type), and a Political Advisor (rogue type), along with other honorary members.  These Irmaelin shall lead the majority of those under the rule of the house, according to the members path of training.

~          There will be a select few individuals who will not be placed under the command of the Inner Council.  These people shall be placed in the Royal Guard (In Elven Hodrimarth) of Taruial, under the direct command of the Lord and Lady Gilliandor.  Also, amoung those exceptional people who demonstrate qualities beyond the norm, they shall be sworn to the Lord and Lady directly, and become landed nobility, in the name of House Gilliandor.

~          Members who are just starting out in the House shall be Eccelene.  After a period of watching to see if they are active or not, they shall be promoted to full members of the House, with the title Saerdulor.
