Actor Bio:
Danny Strong was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, a little borough south of
Los Angeles. He first began his acting on stage as a Freshman in his high school
and was instantly smitten with it. He attended the University of Southern
California as a theater major with numerous scholarships he had won. He was
nominated for the prestigious Irene Ryan/Kennedy Center Award and USC awarded
him the James Pendleton Award for Acting. He then began acting with small rolls
in numerous TV shows. He co-starred in a film with Tori Spelling and has done
man commercials. In 1997, Danny was awarded a fellowship by the USC where he
taught acting during the summer sessions. He high school theatrical productions
included The Outsiders and Cabaret.
Danny has two films currently in post production, set to be released within the next year and they are Outside Sales and Bad Guys. He also has the following movie credits to his name: Veritas Prince of Truth, Losing Lois Lane, Behind the Mask, Seabiscuit, New Suit, Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth, Spoof! An Insider's Guide to Short Film Success, Pleasantville, The Prophecy II, Perpetrators of the Crime, Lasting Silents and Dangerous Minds. He was also on the crew of Pleasantville and he appeared as a regular in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. He is well known for his role as Doyle on Gilmore Girls and as his role as Jonathan Levinson on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Other TV shows he has appeared in include: Dragnet, Johnny Bravo, Maybe It's Me, Clueless, Union Square, Seinfeld, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Boy Meets World, Minor Adjustments, and Hey Arnold.
Character Bio:
Doyle is the editor of the Yale Daily before he graduated from Yale. He is also
Paris' boyfriend and lover. She took over the editor duties once he graduated,
and they are still together.
