Actor Bio:
Jackson Douglas graduated from Kentridge High School in Kent, WA in 1988 and went on to attend Washington State University. He proposed to his then girlfriend Alex Borstein during a taping of a skit on her television show MadTV. Ironically enough, she was originally scheduled to play the character of Sookie St. James on the show, the character who would later marry his own. Borstein had to back out at the last minute because of contractual obligations, and took the minor role of Drella in the first season instead.

Besides Gilmore Girls Jackson was a director and writer in the 2001 movie Brown Eyed Girl. He had appeared in the following movies and TV shows: The Dancing Cow, Mad TV, Arizona Dream, Grounded for Life, Zoe Duncan Jack & Jane, Providence, and Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction.

Jackson is the produce guy for the Independence Inn. Soon he falls for Sookie when she asks him out, and their relationship evolves and they end up getting married and having kids...it's like a picture perfect family.
