Actress Bio:
Vanessa Marano started acting in the theater when she was just seven years old.
She has done numerous plays at The Stage Door Theater. She started acting
professionally when she started doing national commercials. She likes playing
tennis and dancing. She enjoys school, playing the piano and painting. Her film
credits include doing one of the voices in Finding Nemo, Her second film
was the independent film Easy and her most recent film credit was the
starring role in Christopher Reeve's film The Brooke Ellison Story where
she played Brooke as a quadriplegic.
Vanessa's most well-known TV character is that of the recurring Hanna Malone on Without A Trace. She was Emmy-award winning actor, Anthony LaPaglia's daughter on the show. She was also a series regular on the HBO comedy, The Comeback playing Lisa Kudrow's step-daughter Franchesca. Other television credits to her name include Six Feet Under, Grounded For Life and Malcolm In The Middle. Vanessa's excited to just have booked a recurring role on her favorite television show Gilmore Girls.
Character Bio:
April Nardini is Luke's daughter. He just found out about her when she walked
into his diner and got a piece of his hair to do a DNA test to find out who her
father was for a science project. Luke walked into the school and saw that he
was her father. So far he has only told Liz about this discovery.
