Hawaii-native Keiko Agena began acting at age ten and instantly fell in love with it. After years of hard work, auditions, and education, she now plays Rory's sidekick Lane Kim in Gilmore Girls. After graduating from high school, Keiko studied drama for one year at Whitman College in Washington. Since then, she has starred as Casey in the movie Hundred Percent and appeared in the TV movie Terror in the Shadows. She has also made TV guest appearances in Felicity as Leila Foster, Beverly Hills, 90210, and the NBC show ER as Mrs. Shimahara in 1998.
