the girls in magazines

this section is for pictures and articles of the girls. i'll tell you what magazines/issues they're in, so you can either buy them or bum them off your friends (hey, that's what i do) so that you can put them up on your gg shrine. (come on, i know you have one...) i could scan in the pictures and articles, but seeing as i can hardly find enough time to sleep, the chances of that happening are not very likely. so sorry. plus you can find them all over the place on the internet. {:o)

May 2002

* Seventeen (LAUREN GRAHAM AND ALEXIS BLEDEL ON THE COVER!) - a 2 or 3 page article on the girls with some good/big pictures.
* Teen People - a picture of Alexis with a small paragraph. (thanks for the correction, Allyson)

March 2002

* People Spring Style Preview (four women on the cover including Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow) - two two-page pictures of lauren graham and alexis bledel. one two-page picture of keiko agena, kelly bishop, and melissa mccarthy. brief descriptions of the people and clothes accompany the pictures.
* InStyle magazine (Debra Messing on the cover)- a one page pic of lauren (lorelai) and i think there's an article.
* Redbook magazine - an interview with lauren (lorelai)
* Seventeen magazine (Jennifer Garner on the cover) - a one page picture of lauren (lorelai) when she was 17! --it's on the last page.
* YM (ALEXIS BLEDEL on the cover!!!!!!) - it's confirmed, she's definitely on the cover. there is a 3-pg article and a few pictures of alexis and lauren
* People - a 2 page article about scott patterson (luke) with two large pictures of him and one of scott and lauren

February 2002

* Seventeen magazine (Katie Holmes on the cover) - a one page picture of jared padalecki (dean) and an article
* Hairstylesguide Magazine (Debra Messing on the cover)- a picture of lauren graham (lorelai)
* Good Housekeeping - (jennifer aniston on the cover) - LOTS of pictures of lauren graham (lorelai)
* Who magazine (only found in Australia) - an article about the show and two pictures

December 2001

* NYLON magazine (Kirsten Dunst on the cover) - a one page article/interview with Alexis (Rory) with a half page picture
* YM Stars - (2 different covers, either Jimmy Fallen or Alicia Keys) three pages of alexis pics, three pictures all together. they give her a makeover.
* Teen - (Mandy Moore on the cover) a small pic of Lauren Graham (Lorelai)
* Seventeen makeover issue (Mandy Moore on the cover) - a 1/4 page picture of Alexis (it's the very popular season one pic with the hair and the denim jacket..) and a small article on how to do your makeup like her. the magazine will be on display from october-ish until january 14.
November 2001

* Shape (Janet Jackson on the cover) - a one-page interview with Lauren Graham and a 1/4 page picture
* Seventeen (the girls from Charmed on the cover) - a 5 or 6 page photoshoot of Alexis Bledel (Rory) and Keiko Agena (Lane). there is also a little pull-out tv booklet, which has a 1/4 page picture of Chad Michael Murray (tristan) and another of Lauren Graham.

October 2001

* J-14 - the girls made 2 top ten lists. i haven't seen it, but im guessing there's a couple pictures.
* Self magazine (Heather Graham on the cover) - a 2 - page article written by lauren graham with five really nice, big pictures. i highly suggest buying it.
* InStyle - a one-page (i think) season two promo pic/ad
* Rosie (that girl, i think mia, from just shoot me on the cover) - a gorgeous one-page picture of lauren graham, with a quote about her style.

September 2001

* CosmoGirl (Gwen Stefani on the cover) - a small pic of Alexis and a quote about her first kiss

August 2001

* Seventeen (Sarah Michelle Gellar on the cover) - a pic about the size of an altoids box of lauren graham, and a quote from her about her report in sixth grade.
April/June 2001

* Amplifier magazine - Alexis and Lauren are on the cover, and there's a 3-page article on the music of gilmore girls. there are a few pics inside the magazine, but they are black and white.
* Teen magazine (June) - a half-page pic of alexis and an article of how to do your makeup like her

May 2001

* Twist magazine (Katie Holmes on the cover) - a one-page interview with alexis and a 1/4 page pic of her. there is also the naturistics lipgloss ad with alexis in it in this magazine. February 2001

* TeenStyle magazine - a 1/2-page pic of alexis (i could be so wrong on this one--i might have the wrong magazine. my apologies.)

October 2000

* Teen magazine - a very small pic of alexis and lauren, and a summary of what the show is about
